Weather: Sunny and 32C
This morning we had breakfast at the Yavapai Canyon Cafe, checked out of our room and then went to hand in the comments form at the Rangers Office. On the way to the Rangers Office we saw a coyote, first and only one on our holiday.

Before leaving the Grand Canyon we stopped at Bight Angel Bicycles and Mather Point Cafe to get a cappuccino for Justin. From the Grand Canyon we drove south to Valle where we stopped for fuel and saw amazing metal artwork, across the road is The Flintstone Bedrock City, a theme park, campground and RV Park. If we had known it was a theme park opening from 6 am in Summer and 7 am in Winter we would have checked it out.

Justin drove us to Williams which was the last place to be bypassed on the Historic Route 66. The Route 66 has two one way streets through the centre of Williams so Justin drove down both streets. We did some souvenir shopping and stopped in at a diner for lunch but no one would serve us at the table. We do not know if we were to go to the counter or not, so after a long period of waiting we gave up and drove onto Kingman where we had Jack in the Box.

From Kingman, I drove to Hoover Dam, where we decided to stop in to have a look.

I am glad we did as it is well worth it, we got photos of the dam and then Justin took over the driving all the way to Paris Las Vegas.
On reaching Paris Las Vegas we checked into our room and then I had a Vanilla Marquise to tie me over until the end of the Night Tour.

We met the guide and other tourists at the Bally Bus Ramp and on starting the tour we were informed that almost no restaurants or cafes will be open after the tour ends. This surprised us for the City That Never Sleeps, or is that another city? Our bad, that was New York! The night tour took us to see the dancing fountains and observatory at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino from there we went to watch the volcano show at the Mirage Hotel & Casino.

The next attraction was Fremont Street for fifteen minutes of free time before seeing The Who Show at the Fremont Street Experience. We went into the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino to see the water slide within a shark tank and the Golden Nugget.

Next was photos with the Welcome to Las Vegas sign and then back to the starting point. The night tour was great and we glad we did it, we decided to do some of the night attractions the following night too.

After the tour ended we searched high and low for a business that was open to purchase some dinner in Paris Las Vegas and I managed to get a green salad with Caesar dressing while Justin had a pizza.
